Who we are..

Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti is a non-governmental organization, registered under The Societies Registration Act (1860). It is currently functioning at 15 districts of Chhattisgarh, wherein it is working with more than 75000 families in over 700 villages. CG Agricon’s chief endeavour is to provide subsistence-based support to the poor and marginalized class of people by ensuring them agriculture-based livelihoods. Approximately three-fourths of the families who are associated with Agricon belong to the Scheduled Tribes backgrounds. CG Agricon is under the course of extending its presence and activities to even remote areas of tribal.

Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti has a vision to Scale up the Quality of life in Rural and Tribal areas of Chhattisgarh.

Our Mission

Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti has been working actively in the rural areas of Chhattisgarh to empower its beneficiaries and facilitate them with Better Livelihood opportunities along with improved Natural Resource Management. To accomplish better livelihood intervention, we are focusing on the Household level onto each member of the Family especially Females. Samiti is also functioning in Health, Education, and cleanliness along with clean energy and sanitation in the area where the Samiti is active, our team’s overall Mission is to upsurge the HDI of its beneficiaries above the level of National Average of India i.e 0.454.

Our Approach

Our Approach towards Social intervention is phased in a process such that every stakeholder has participation towards identification of the problem and further figuring out and implementing appropriate measures for extrication of such issue. We firmly believe in an all-inclusive community participation (Male, Female, Children, Elderly Persons, and Persons with Disability etc) for implementation of any concept.
