About Pratyagra

Pratyagra is an e-learning initiative launched by Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering rural communities in Chhattisgarh, India. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality educational resources to individuals/beneficiaries/partners, especially those in remote areas, to help them acquire new skills, knowledge, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The Roots of Pratyagra

Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti is a non-governmental organization, registered in 2007 under the Societies Registration Act (1973). Over the years, we have touched the lives of over 1 million people across 16 districts of Chhattisgarh.

Nearly three-fourths of the families CAS works with belong to Scheduled Tribes. CAS is continuously expanding its activities across different areas of Chhattisgarh.

Focusing on the overall quality of life of the beneficiaries, CAS extensively intervenes on major themes such as Sustainable Agriculture and allied livelihood, Environment and Ecosystem and Community Mental health & Psychosocial Support.

CAS harnesses the power of more than 10,000 youth volunteers across CG; local level influencers; and Information, communication & Technology methods to effectively implement all its projects and programs. Many of our interventions are backed by the concepts of social behavioral change communication.

In 2024, we embarked on the Pratyagra project to bridge this gap by leveraging the power of technology and the internet. Our goal is to create a comprehensive e-learning platform that offers a wide range of courses, tutorials, and educational materials tailored to the needs of rural communities.

Our Offerings

At Pratyagra, we cover a diverse array of topics, including these but not limited to:

Climate Change: Explore the science behind climate change through interactive modules and multimedia resources. Learn about the greenhouse effect, global warming trends, impacts on ecosystems and human societies, and potential solutions. Agriculture: Master the principles of modern agriculture through video lessons, animated graphics, and hands-on activities. from soil management and crop cultivation to livestock rearing and precision farming, gain practical knowledge and skills. Agroforestry: Explore the integration of trees, crops, and livestock through immersive expert-led lectures. Discover various agroforestry systems, such as alley cropping, and forest farming, and their benefits for soil fertility, biodiversity, and climate resilience. Engage with interactive exercises and quizzes to reinforce your learning.

 

Social Emotional Learning: Develop essential social and emotional skills through self-paced modules, interactive scenarios, and reflective exercises. Learn about self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Access a wealth of resources, including mindfulness activities, conflict resolution strategies, and emotional intelligence assessments.

 

PSEA & Work Ethics: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and ethical conduct in the workplace through our online certification program. Explore real-world case studies, interactive simulations, and expert interviews. Learn about policies, reporting mechanisms, and best practices for creating safe and respectful environments.
