Why?
Overexploitation of natural resources, urbanization, soil erosion, and excessive use of fertilizers and pest control has led to the destruction of biodiversity. There is also a lot of burden on the ecosystem to deliver services, which is only increasing due to climate change and impaired natural cycles.
